How to get started:

1. First you will need to select a motherboard that you want to use in your system or barebone kit. Each motherboard description contains the information about the Front Side Bus (FSB) speed and supported type of memory. Motherboard description also contains the list of integrated components. For example, if it states "Video/Audio/LAN" the motherboard will have the video, audio and network cards integrated. So you do not need to select these cards lower on the list because those components will be integrated on the motherboard.

2. Then you will need to select a processor. Choose desired processor; however, please make sure that the motherboard that you have selected supports it. In most of the cases, when FSB speeds match in the descriptions, your motherboard and processor will be compatible. If the processor that you have selected states that it comes in retail box then the package would also include a cooling fan with heatsink. If it states that the processor is OEM then you need to select a cooling fan from the list. If you have your own fan you can leave it off your list and install it by yourself when you receive your system or barebone kit. 3. After you have selected the processor, please choose the memory if you need it. Once again refer back to the selected motherboard description to see what type of memory you can use. For example, DDR333 or DDR400. If you have selected Abit, ASUS, Gigabyte, Microstar, SOYO, Tyan or Intel motherboard it is recommended that you select memory by Micron or  Samsung. If you have selected ECS, Matsonic or Chaintech motherboard you can also use memory by Elixir. In case of a compatibility problem we will contact you and recommend you a different memory.
